Puma's story
PUMA Telecommunications was founded in 1999 by Ed Dibeler where he focused on delivering telecommunication services to clients that varied from small business to the Fortune 500. Over the years, PUMA expanded its services to offer IT support with a focus on healthcare delivering IT solutions to customers that didn’t think were possible.
In 2023, Chris Burns joined the company as the COO and brought 20 years of experience to the team. Chris founded a healthcare-focused MSP in 2005, where then in 2016, merged with Adam Steinhoff & Dedicated IT, expanding the verticalized vision into the national presence it holds today. After leaving Dedicated IT in late 2022, Chris and Ed reconnected after a failed attempt to work together in the past, where they found alignment in core values and shared a strong passion on building the next verticalized managed services platform.
We’ve launched the first phase of a 10-year growth strategy, anchored by three essential pillars.
The future is bright at PUMA as we’ve rebuilt our services from the ground up, launched our new brand, new website, and doubled our team size since the beginning of the year. Our goal is to change the stigma around IT providers from “what are we paying for” to “how did we operate without PUMA before”.
